WAHS Sports

Tennis

  • The Lady Warriors swept Louisa 9 matches to 0.

Baseball

  • Varsity (3-1) edged out a tough Louisa squad 3-2. Josh Lively struck out eight batters in just over three innings to get things started for the Warriors.

Lacrosse

  • The varsity boys (2-1) took out archrival Albemarle 16-8. Half of the Warriors offensive output came from Cole Baglio, who scored 8 goals.

  • The girls (4-0) also rocked the Patriots of Albemarle 18-5 to continue their strong start to the season. Maggie Craytor led all scorers with 4 goals on the evening.

Soccer

  • The boys made easy work of Louisa, 5-0, to remain undefeated. A balanced offensive attack yielded five different scorers.

Crozet United’s Warrior of the Week is Cole Baglio who is the second boys LAX player in a row to win the honor. Scoring eight goals in a single game is hard to deny!
