  • Jack Hathaway (100 Breaststroke), David King (200 IM and 100 Free), and Raina Fitzwater (Diving) came away as individual State Champions

  • Lucy Nicholson (500 Free) and David King (200 IM) broke Western school records at the meet

  • The boys swept the relay events (200 Medley, 200 Free, and 400 Free Relays) for the first time in team history

Wrestling

  • Cole McGuinty (175 lbs.) and Owen Townsend (215 lbs.) showed well at the State Tournament, placing 3rd and 5th respectively

Basketball

  • The Boys (19-5) rebounded after a tough last-second loss in the district final by dismantling Alleghany 79-34 in region tournament action

  • The Girls (17-7) also clawed back into regional contention with a tidy 48-33 win over Broadway

  • With their convincing wins, both squads advance to the region semifinals
