New Play Area The Yellow Mug has a new play area for small kids if you are looking for a few minutes of peace and quiet while you have your morning coffee.

Retaining Walls Likely Taller Without any discussion, County Supervisors unanimously approved their intent to increase the maximum height of retaining walls on the County’s steep slopes by 60%, allowing developers to build even further into steep slopes to maximize housing density.

More Housing Approved Supervisors also unanimously approved rezoning UVA North Fork to allow up to 1,400 new homes (about the same size as Old Trail). The County has now approved enough new homes to last it until the year 2047.

New Building A preliminary design for large 23,000 square foot mixed-use building was recently submitted to the County’s Architectural Review Board. The conceptual drawing of the building (shown below) shows that it would be on the current site of the Green Olive Tree and Laundromat along Three Notch’d Rd.

  • Both the squads will continue the fight in more tournament action in the coming days

The Crozet United Warriors of the Week are Eden Simpson and Ika Gottlieb, who will soon be recognized by the Fralin Museum for their winning poetry in the 2023 Writer's Eye contest.

Crozet United Moment of the Week Because of a sound system glitch, the WAHS student cheering section led a beautifully raucous rendition of the national anthem prior to the Boys' basketball playoff game last Friday. The touching display of national and school spirit left few eyes dry.
