Yay! Crozet! Passport Event Returns This Saturday!

Get ready for a day of local fun, exploration, and community —the second annual Yay! Crozet! Passport Event is happening Saturday, April 12th, and you’re invited!

This free, family-friendly event is all about celebrating Crozet’s amazing small businesses. Pick up a passport and map at any participating stop, then head out to explore town. At each stop, you’ll collect a sticker (no purchase necessary!)—and for every 5 stickers, you’ll earn an entry into the prize raffle.

🏆 Raffle prizes include:

  • $50 to Crozet Pharmacy

  • $50 to Santosha Yoga

  • …and more from your favorite local spots!

🗺️ How it works:

  1. Pick up a passport + map from any passport stop

  2. Visit businesses and collect stickers along the way

  3. Turn in your passport at your last stop for your chance to win!

Legally Blonde at WAHS

Get ready for a fun-filled evening of music, laughter, and pink power! Western Albemarle High School’s talented students are bringing Legally Blonde, the Musical to the stage April 10-13, and you won’t want to miss it!

Performance Dates & Times:

  • Thursday, April 10 @ 7 p.m. – Opening Night Dress Rehearsal benefitting the Eric Betthauser Memorial Scholarship, which supports graduating WAHS seniors pursuing the arts. Donations will be accepted at the door.

  • Friday, April 11 @ 7 p.m.

  • Saturday, April 12 @ 2 p.m. – Understudy Matinee

  • Saturday, April 12 @ 7 p.m.

  • Sunday, April 13 @ 2 p.m.

All performances will be held in the WAHS Auditorium.

Legally Blonde follows the journey of Elle Woods, a fashion-loving sorority girl who surprises everyone when she enrolls at Harvard Law School and proves she’s got both beauty and brains. Rated PG-13, this high-energy musical is recommended for audiences ages 13 and up.

If you’re not experienced with hiking in the mountains I suggest starting with something on the easy to moderate side until you build up your hiking legs.
